The Sheesh Mahal ( The palace of Mirrors) is located within the Shah Burj block in Lahore Fort. It was constructed under the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631-32. The ceiling of this palace is decorated with pieta dura and convex glass with mirror mosaic which includes thousands of small mirrors. At night they lit candles. It has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 My passion and love for art ,history and culture enforced me to capture the motifs of this magnificent ceiling and transfer it on different products to promote art. Having this on your textiles, home accessories and as a print will be a good addition in your house.
